- FATHER
Father forms part of an ongoing series investigating family dynamics through intimate personal narratives, interrogating the long-lasting imprint of wounded father–child relationships within a deeply patriarchal society such as Turkey.
Like Mother before it, the work draws from mythic structures and archetypes, searching for a mythic resonance beneath the surface of lived experience. At moments it leans into symbolic texture, where myth and lived experience quietly interweave, dissolving the boundaries between the archetypal and the painfully real.
