- TWELFTH NIGHT
In our devised rendition of “Twelfth Night, or What You Will,” we centered on the idea of crossing thresholds—identity as a journey. Inspired by Viola’s shipwreck as a blank slate, our company members created alter egos of the opposite gender and ventured into public spaces. We juxtaposed their experiences with interviews from those who had transitioned, unraveling the complexity of identity. The play became a reflection on the choices that shape who we become, both in gender and humanity. Ultimately, our performance was a tapestry of threshold moments, showing that reinvention is at the heart of what we will.
